Cahill Design Consultants was commissioned by Osbornes Limited to provide Consultancy services to Blue Mountain Community Centre Development, located in Bracknell.
The development was a new build community centre providing ground floor, first floor accommodation including meeting rooms offices, staff areas, multipurpose halls, café, nursey, extensive medical facilities, in addition to ancillary space and back of house areas.
The existing clubhouse building was demolished to make way for the new build.
CDC also supported the construction phase by responding to questions, tender queries, and value engineering, as required.
CDC offered technical support and advice to the RIBA Stages 2-4 design proposals as they relate to Fire Engineering and Acoustics.
A noise survey at the site was conducted, to understand the existing noise environment in and around the development site. Technical input was provided to ensure the development was able to comply with Building Regulations, HTM and other acceptable guidance requirement.
