We support clients in understanding the condition, safety and performance of existing facades throughout occupation. Our engineers assess the building envelope to identify defects, deterioration, safety concerns and maintenance requirements, helping inform repair strategies and long-term planning.

Building envelope condition surveys and reporting

We carry out intrusive and non-intrusive condition surveys, combining visual inspections with diagnostic testing where required. This includes reviewing cladding, glazing, fixings, interfaces, structural support and weathering performance. Findings are presented in clear reports that outline defects, risks and recommended remedial actions.

Input into Fire Engineers’ FRAEW reports

We provide the facade-specific information needed to support Fire Engineers preparing FRAEWs (Fire Risk Appraisals of External Walls). Our input includes material and system verification, condition assessment, and identification of potential fire spread pathways, helping ensure the overall report is accurate, evidence-based and aligned with current regulatory requirements.
