CDC won the Building Acoustics Award and Best Presentation.
This years’ ANC Awards took place on July 3 at the Crown Plaza in Birmingham, where CDC’s ‘Project Tusk’ picked up the Building Acoustics Award.
The Awards accompany the Annual Conference which this year had sessions covering
- Aligning Acoustics with Net Zero Agenda
- Internal Acoustic Environments
- Construction noise
Each nominee is additionally tasked with giving a presentation on their shortlisted entry.
CDC’s Head of Acoustics, Mark Scaife, gave an award winning presentation on ‘Project Tusk’ where we provided Acoustic Solutions to The Gruffalo Club House in Blackpool. A testing project navigating sound within an open-plan space with the added hurdle of a Sea Life centre above, which went on to win the Building Acoustic Award.
