THE WINNERS OF THE CONSTRUCTION NEWS WORKFORCE AWARDS 2023 HAVE BEEN CROWNED

Cahill Design Consultants was announced as the deserving winner of the Best Place to Work – Subcontractor Award at the 2023 Construction News Workforce Awards.

In a prestigious ceremony held at Grosvenor House Hotel, London on Thursday 16 November 2023, organisations from across the construction industry were honoured across 18 categories in a night of recognition.

The awards celebrate the people striving to make construction a more inclusive industry, as well as the businesses doing outstanding work to improve the construction industry’s reputation and employment practices.

Following a rigorous judging process conducted by HR, equality and diversity and organisational development leaders from inside and outside the industry, Cahill Design Consultants emerged as the winner of Best Place to Work – Subcontractor Award for their commitment to providing an outstanding working environment for staff.

The judges commented:

Despite their small headcount, this design consultant has embedded best practice support initiatives to support their employees.  They have put culture at their heart of their organisation and have a tangible focus on well-being initiatives. They have a strong focus on inclusivity, personal development, and tertiary support.

“With the relentless march of technological innovation, not least artificial intelligence, it is sometimes easy to overlook the overriding importance individuals play in the construction sector. The CN Workforce Awards celebrates the people and organisations leading innovation within the industry.

“Our worthy winners are breaking new boundaries in areas such as mental health, improving diversity and inclusion, closing unfair pay gaps, and becoming more socially responsible. The winners demonstrate world-leading excellence, ensuring the construction industry remains a great place to work.”
