As part of the continued growth of our team, we welcomed several new colleagues to Cahill Design Consultants towards the end of 2024, strengthening both our Fire Engineering capability and the introduction of our Facade Engineering service.
Aprameya Kar – Facade Engineer
Aprameya joins Cahill as a Chartered Facade Engineer with more than 18 years’ experience in the cladding and building envelopes industry. He leads our new Facade Engineering discipline, supporting clients across planning, design and construction phases, as well as condition surveys and lifecycle assessments. His appointment enhances our integrated approach to engineering consultancy and broadens the services we can offer to our clients.
Karina Sutton – Principal Fire Engineer
Karina joins as a Principal Fire Engineer, holding a BEng (Hons) in Fire Engineering and Associate Membership of the Institution of Fire Engineers. She brings extensive experience in developing fire safety strategies across residential, care, mixed-use, education and heritage projects. Based primarily in our Preston office, Karina provides technical leadership and supports the continued development of our Fire Engineering team.
Trevor Williams – Associate Director, Fire Engineering
Trevor joins Cahill as Associate Director, Fire Engineering. A Chartered Engineer and Fellow of the Institution of Fire Engineers, Trevor brings over 30 years’ experience spanning the Fire Service and Fire Engineering consultancy. He has worked on major projects across the UK and internationally, supporting clients with fire safety strategies and system design.
