Cahill Design Consultants (CDC) was commissioned by Bouygues UK to offer acoustic design, support planning to this large boutique luxury hotel development located in Shoreditch London
The five storey building incorporates guestrooms, food and beverage areas, fitness suite, swimming pool, guest services areas, conference facilities, in addition to the usual back of house spaces.
CDC worked closely with the wider design team including architects, building services engineers, and Bouygues UK, to ensure that the acoustic design requirements were effectively incorporated into the design proposals.
Cahill Design Consultants was commissioned to support the project including extensive surveys, assessments and design recommendations in addition to commissioning tests. All works were undertaken throughout the design and construction. Our extensive work allowed the hotel to control noise and vibration emissions both within and external to the building and achieve the design aspirations of the client and the requirements of the Planning Authority.
