“I feel that after 3 years of practical experience in Acoustics the Diploma in Acoustics and Noise Control was the perfect course to tie my experience with specialist academic knowledge especially in “Building Acoustics” and “Environmental Noise” which were my two optional modules on top of the standard “General principles of acoustics” module.
It was also really interesting and fulfilling doing the Laboratory module where I applied my experience but also got my hands on experiments I’ve never done before like Audiometry.
Also the diploma provides the educational requirements for me to apply for Corporate Membership of the Institute of Acoustics.”
